How to delete your account
Last updated: June 3, 2026You can delete your Lexa account, and everything in it, directly from the app at any time.
Delete from inside the app
- Open Lexa and tap Menu in the bottom navigation bar.
- On the Menu screen, open your Profile.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm in the sheet that appears.
Deletion happens immediately after you confirm — there is no waiting period.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove from our servers:
- your account and sign-in;
- your email, name, and chosen avatar icon;
- all of your words, categories, and attached media;
- your learning progress;
- your subscription record.
This data is deleted right away from our active systems; residual copies in encrypted backups are removed on a rolling cycle. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Cancel your subscription separately. Deleting your account does not cancel an active Lexa Pro subscription, because billing is handled by the store. To stop future charges, cancel in your store settings before deleting:
- iPhone / iPad: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Lexa → Cancel.
- Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Lexa → Cancel.
Can’t open the app?
If you’ve already removed the app or can’t sign in, email us at support@mylexa.app from the address linked to your account and ask us to delete it. We’ll complete the deletion within 30 days and confirm by email.
