Frequently Asked Questions
What is Lexa?
Lexa is a vocabulary-learning app for English. You collect words, organize them into categories, and study them with built-in learning tools. Everything you add stays in sync across your devices.
Is Lexa free? What’s in Lexa Pro?
Lexa is free to download and use. Lexa Pro is an optional subscription that removes limits and unlocks the full set of learning features. You can explore the app for free and upgrade whenever you’re ready.
How does sync across devices work?
Sign in with the same Apple or Google account on each device. Your words, categories, and learning progress are saved to your account and sync automatically — start on your phone, continue on your tablet.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed by the App Store or Google Play, so you cancel them there:
- iPhone / iPad: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Lexa → Cancel.
- Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Lexa → Cancel.
You’ll keep Pro access until the end of the current billing period.
How do I restore a purchase?
If you reinstall Lexa or switch to a new device, open the Pro screen in the app and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you’re signed in with the same App Store or Google Play account you used for the original purchase.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account and all of its data at any time — from Menu → Profile → Delete account in the app. Full instructions are on our How to delete your account page.
What data does Lexa collect, and can I opt out?
To run your account and sync your learning, we store the content you create. We also collect anonymous crash diagnostics and usage analytics to improve the app — we never show ads or sell your data. You can switch diagnostics and analytics off anytime in Settings → Privacy → “Help improve Lexa”. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
Why do some words contain slang or profanity?
Lexa helps you learn real English — including the slang and strong language you’ll meet in films, music, and everyday conversation. Such words may appear as learning material. For that reason the app is intended for ages 13+.
