1. The service

Lexa is a vocabulary-learning app for iOS and Android that lets you build, organize, and study words and categories, and sync them across your devices. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use Lexa. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement. Lexa is not intended for children.

Lexa is a tool for learning English vocabulary and may, as part of that purpose, include slang and explicit or profane words for reference. By using the app you accept that such language may appear.

3. Your account

You sign in using your Apple or Google account. You are responsible for keeping access to that account secure and for activity that happens under your Lexa account. Let us know at support@mylexa.app if you suspect unauthorized use.

4. Subscriptions & payments

Lexa offers an optional paid subscription (“Lexa Pro”) that unlocks additional features. The following terms apply:

5. Your content

The words, categories, media, and other content you create in Lexa remain yours. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and sync that content solely to provide the app’s features to you across your devices. You are responsible for the content you add and confirm you have the right to use it.

6. Acceptable use

When using Lexa, you agree not to:

7. Our intellectual property

The app, its design, the “Lexa” name and logo, and any content we provide are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Lexa for your own learning. The app is licensed, not sold, to you.

8. App Store & Google Play

You obtain Lexa through Apple’s App Store or Google Play and must comply with their terms. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or for providing support or maintenance. Where you use the app on an Apple device, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

9. Disclaimers

Lexa is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific learning goals. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of the above may not apply to you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and your mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence remain fully in effect.

11. Termination

You may stop using Lexa at any time and delete your account from within the app or via our delete-account page. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms or use the app unlawfully. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and for significant changes we will provide notice in the app or by email. Continued use of Lexa after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. This does not deprive you of the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
